The short version: we keep your email address so you can sign in, your pictures so you can find them again, and a record of what you have downloaded so the plan can be counted. We do not sell any of it, we do not advertise, and there are no tracking cookies on this site.

Who you are dealing with. Hector the Vector is a sole trader business in the United Kingdom, at postcode EC2Y 8AY. Write to hello@hectorthevector.com and a person will answer, normally within two working days. Our full postal address is available on request by email, and is held by our payment provider.

The price you see is the whole amount you pay. Nothing is added at the checkout.

What we keep, and why

We ask for nothing else. No name, no address, no phone number, no date of birth.

Why we are allowed to

Most of it is because you asked us to do something and we cannot do it otherwise — that is the contract between us. The logs, and keeping the service from being abused, are our legitimate interest in running a working service. We keep payment records because tax law says we must.

How long we keep it

Who else touches it

Only the companies we need to run the service, and only for that purpose:

Nobody else. We do not sell, rent or share your data, and there is no advertising network, no analytics profile, and no data broker in this list.

Cookies

Three small ones, all doing a job you asked for: one that keeps you signed in, one that remembers whether you chose the light or the dark page, and one used while the site is still behind its door. None of them follow you anywhere, and none of them are used for advertising — which is why this site does not throw a cookie banner at you.

What you can ask for

You can ask us for a copy of everything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it and close your account. Email hello@hectorthevector.com and we will do it, normally within a few days and always within a month. It is free.

If you think we have handled your data badly, please tell us first so we can fix it. You also have the right to complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
